Our Vision
Our Vision is Total Commitment through Shared Ministry under the Power of the Holy Spirit. Our Vision is Developing Strong Disciples who are Committed to the Work of the Kingdom. Our Vision is Exercising Our Faith Serving God, who Continues to Save Souls and Build Families.
Church Covenant
Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior; and on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now in the presence of God, angels and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another, as one body in Christ.
We engage, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in Christian love.
To strive for the advancement of this church in knowledge and holiness; to give it a place in our affections, prayers and services above every organization of human origin; to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline and doctrine.
To contribute cheerfully and regularly, as God has prospered us, toward its expenses, for the support of a faithful and evangelical ministry among us, the relief of the poor and the spread of the Gospel throughout the world.
We also engage to maintain family and secret devotion; to study diligently the word of God; to religiously educate our children; to seek the salvation of our kindred and acquaintance.
To walk circumspectly in the world; to be kind and just to those in our employ, and faithful in the service we promise others; endeavoring in the purity of heart and good will towards all men to exemplify and commend our holy faith.
In case of difference of opinion in the church, we will strive to avoid a contentious spirit. We further engage to watch over, to pray for, to exhort and stir up each other unto every good work; to guard each other's reputation, not needlessly exposing the infirmities of others; to participate in each other's joys, and with tender sympathy bear one another's burdens and sorrows; to cultivate Christian courtesy; to be slow to give or take offense, but always ready for reconciliation, being mindful of the rules of the Savior in the eighteenth chapter of Matthew, to secure it without delay.
When we remove from this place, we engage as soon as possible to unite with some other church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God's word. In Jesus Christ name Amen

Church History
The Rock of Salvation Christian Church was co-founded by the leading of the Holy Spirit through Apostle J.w. & Apostle Dr. Debra Brown in 2009. Before the church moved into their current location, the leaders consecrated themselves for an entire year (2008) in their home. The first formal service was held on March 1, 2009. The dedication of the church and installation of pastors took place during a celebration held on March 29, 2009. Pastor Kent McMillian of Frye's Chapel FWB church, located in Vass, NC rendered the dedication service for the church; while, Pastor Bernard Hamilton of Friendship Grove FWB church located in Raeford, NC rendered installation service for the pastors.
The church started with three (3) families. Today, we have several family members who encourage, pray for, and support the Rock. We are growing in the Word and expecting God to increase the Kingdom through this ministry. We at the Rock have adopted the phrase "Helps, Hope, & the Holy Spirit". We want to be a Help to God's people; while, at the same time giving them Hope. We can only do this by the leading of the Holy Spirit. We focus on building FAMILY. The Rock has been honored by the Fayetteville Department of Social Services for supporting Families. our leaders were honored at the Vessels of Honor for their faithful service.
The Rock has the distinct honor of supporting other ministries and needs within the surrounding communities. We support several outreach endeavors, helping with relief efforts in local communities, as well as international like Africa, Haiti, Israel, and the Bahamas, to name a few.
the Rock has several ministries that include Hebrews Brothers Men's Ministry, Kingdom Builder's Youth Ministry, Marriage Enrichment Ministry, Music Ministry, Outreach Ministry (both domestic and international), and Pampered in the Rock Ministry Women's Ministry. Plans are currently in place for Single's Enrichment Ministry to start in 2020.
We continue to be faithful to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and trust the process in which the rock is on.
