Senior Pastor

Apostle J. w. Brown was born in Williamston, NC. He has been married to Dr. Debra Brown for over 37years. They are the parents of two children and the grandparents of seven grandchildren.

Apostle Brown is Co-Founder of Rock of Salvation Christian Church, in addition, he is also the Co-founder of Brown GospelNet Ministries, established in 2003.  Apostle Brown retired from the Army after serving over 24 years of honorable service as a Master Sargent.  He was ordained as an Elder in February 2005.
Apostle Brown believed then and even more today that "Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Him" (John 14:6).  He served with his wife as Director of the Fresh Start Ministry (Providing Breakfast to families in need).

Apostle Brown received his Associate Degree of Business Management, in 2005, from Barstow Community College located Barstow, CA and his bachelor's degree in Multi-Disciplinary Business from Liberty University.  He is currently pursuing his master's degree in Divinity at Liberty University, located Lynchburg VA.

Apostle Brown's favorite scriptures include:
John: 14: 1: Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me; and Ephesians 2: 4-6: But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,  Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)  And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Apostle Brown believes it is God's desire that we trust and lean on Him for our life in a world that is full of trouble. That is why it is important that we have unshakable trust in our faithful God.  It is through His grace and mercy that we can forget about our mistakes and try never to do them again. This will keep us in perfect peace where trouble can never have the victory in our lives.

Apostle (Dr) Debra Brown was born in Tampa, Florida. She has been married to Apostle J. w. Brown for over 37 years. They are the parents of two children and the grandparents of seven grandchildren.

Apostle Brown is Co-Founder of Rock of Salvation Christian Church, which was established March 2009. Since 2011, Apostle Dr. Brown has served as Pastor of Rock of Salvation Christian Church. Apostle Brown is also the Co-Founder of Brown Gospel Net Ministries. Apostle Brown retired from the Army with over 20 years of honorable service. as a Master Sergeant.  She was ordained as an Elder in November 2006. 

She was co-Director with her husband of the Fresh Start Ministry (Providing Breakfast to families in need).

Apostle Brown is an inspired teacher of the Word, and she uses a simple approach to the Word: trust the Holy Spirit for understanding. She stands firmly on John 14:26:"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." The Holy Spirit is the teacher we must trust to receive "Divine Revelation."

Apostle Brown received her first Associate Degree (Social Science and Business Management-2005) from Barstow Community College, located in Barstow, CA. She received her bachelor's degree (Sociology- 2007) from Methodist University, located in Fayetteville, NC; and she received her second Associate Degree from Shekinah Glory Ministries - School of Ministries Associate Degree Program (Biblical Studies - 2011). She received her master's degree from Liberty University, Lynchburg VA (Pastoral Counseling 2013), and received her Doctoral Degree from Bible Institute of America, Raeford NC (Theology 2018). Apostle Brown is also an Ordained Chaplain for the Fayetteville Warrior Family Ministries.

Apostle Brown's favorite scriptures include:
Matthew 6:33 KJV "But seek ye first the "Kingdom of God" and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto thee" AND
Roman 8:1 -"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit".

You must seek after the right thing which is the "Kingdom of God" and because you are in Christ Jesus there is "No Condemnation".
